France

  • Every first time applicant who is submitting documents in TLS Contact Visa Application Centre should attend a biometric appointment in person

  • Applicants who have already obtained a Schengen Visa with the mention (VIS) after 2023 January do not have to attend a Biometric Appointment again.

Required Documents:

  • Kindly send us all the below mentioned documents via email along with our Questionaire 

  • Passport:

    • Not older than 10 years with 2 consecutive blank pages

  • UK Residence Permit:

  • Scanned copy of previous Schengen Visa (2023 onwards)

  • 2 UK Passport Size Photo:

  • Letter of Employment:

    • ​For employed: Letter from employer dated and signed, stating qualification, salary and start date of employment in the UK. And last 3 months payslips

    • For self-employed: copy of trade license, accountant letter 

    • For students/pupils: no objection letter from school or university, stating the start and the end date of studies and the course title.

  • If you are travelling for Business Purposes:

    • Letter of invitation from France on the company's letterhead, in which it states clearly: business relation that justifies your trip, purpose of the trip and duration of your stay in France.

  • Proof of Sufficient Funds:

    • Last 3 months UK Bank Statements with sufficient funds covering your accommodation cost and £60 per day of your stay.

  • Travel Itinerary:

    • Round-trip Ticket booking: airfare or bus

    • If travelling by car: ownership documents for the vehicle, insurance and ferry or Eurotunnel tickets with applicant's name

  • Proof of Accommodation:

    • Hotel booking or property lease, stating the name of the applicant.  

  • Travel Insurance:

    • ​Stating the name of the applicant and day interval. It must cover all risks expected during the time of stay inside the Schengen area, offering a minimum coverage of 30.000 €, including repatriation

Proccessing Time:

  • From the date of appointment French visa takes approximately 2-3 weeks to process for most nationals.

  • But it takes up to 4 weeks for the following nationals: Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Cameroon, Central Africa, Chad, Congo, DR Congo, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan, Palestine, Russia, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Vietnam, Yemen and Zimbabwe.
